Aer Rianta have, since 1st April, 1969, been managing Cork and Shannon Airports, in addition to Dublin Airport, on my behalf. It is my intention to introduce legislation in the very near future to constitute Aer Rianta as an airports authority with direct statutory responsibility for airport management.
