Vol. 243 No. 2

Written Answer. - Council of Europe: Resolution.

140.

asked the Minister for External Affairs what is the attitude of the Government with regard to Resolution No. 421 on the appeal by a group of Russian citizens to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 30 September, 1969; and what action the Government has taken, or contemplates taking, on it.

Resolutions of the Consultative Assembly require no action from the Committee of Ministers or from member Governments other than to take note of them.
