I am not yet in a position to review the question of the subvention from the Health Vote to be provided towards expenditure on health services in respect of the year 1970-71. It will be appreciated that complete information on the estimated costs of each health authority is necessary for such a review and it was not until the first of this month that all estimates of these authorities were available in my Department. These estimates are being dealt with as expeditiously as possible.
