asked the Minister for Health the names and designations of the members of the advisory committee on psychiatric services referred to in a reply of 4th December, 1969; and the date on which it is anticipated that this committee will report to him.

The membership of the committee which has been set up to consider, and report on, the recruitment, training and utilisation of psychiatric medical staff, is as follows:

Mr. T.J. Boland, County Manager, Clare; Professor Ivor Browne, Chief Psychiatrist, Dublin Health Authority; Mr. J. Darby, Principal Officer, Department of Health; Dr. V.J. Dolphin, Inspector of Mental Hospitals; Dr. T. Egan, Resident Medical Superintendent, Newcastle, Co. Wicklow; Dr. H. Gath, Senior Psychiatrist, St. Otteran's Hospital, Waterford; Dr. J.V. Glass, Resident Medical Superintendent, St. Davnet's Hospital, Monaghan; Mr. D. MacGuill, Assistant Principal Officer, Department of Health; Mr. E. O'Keeffe, Chief Executive Officer, Dublin Health Authority; Dr. P. Power, Resident Medical Superintendent, Our Lady's Hospital, Ennis.

It is anticipated that the committee will report early in the new year.
