I am satisfied with progress in the Waterford industrial estate. Since development commenced there just over three years ago, there has been a progressive increase in the annual factory building programme. There are now ten firms operating on the estate and another two expect to go into production in the near future. A number of these firms have taken options on adjoining space for planned expansion.
