Vol. 243 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sligo Hospital.

25.

asked the Minister for Health if he has planned or considered the provision of an extension to Cregg Hospital at Sligo in view of the long waiting list of mentally retarded children from Counties Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim; and if he will consider an extension to be provided to cater for boys as the present hospital caters for girls only.

Planning of a 60-bed extension for mentally handicapped boys and girls at Cregg House, Sligo has reached an advanced stage and it is expected that building work will commence during 1970.
