Vol. 243 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions, Oral Answers. - Clare School.

67.

asked the Minister for Education whether he has any proposals as to the future of Ruan national school, County Clare.

My Department have approved of the provision of a new central school at Ruan to replace the existing Ruan and Kells national schools.

The Commissioners of Public Works have already prepared sketch-plans and an estimate of cost for the new school and the Reverend Manager has been requested to furnish satisfactory evidence of title to the site so that the remaining arrangements, leading to the invitation of tenders and the placing of the contract, can proceed.
