I would refer the Deputy to my reply to his similar question addressed to me in this House on the 22nd October, 1969.
The views of the National Industrial Economic Council on the proposed new council were received shortly before Christmas and are at present being considered by Departments. Agricultural representation is only one of a number of questions which are under consideration in relation to the proposed council.
I am not yet in a position to state when the arrangements for the setting-up of the council will be completed.
