Vol. 245 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - St. Kevin's Hospital (Dublin) Maternity Unit.

4.

asked the Minister for Health the date on which he received an application from Dublin Health Authority for approval of the extension of the maternity unit of St. Kevin's Hospital; and when he expects to be in a position to give his decision.

The acceptance by Dublin Health Authority of a tender for the building work involved in a scheme of improvements and extensions at the maternity unit at St. Kevin's Hospital was approved by my Department on 24th October, 1969. I understand that the contractor entered the site on 22nd January last and that preliminary work has commenced.
