Vol. 247 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tipperary Town School.

42.

asked the Minister for Education the present position in regard to acquisition of a site for the new national school at Tipperary town.

The reverend manager has offered a site for a new building. Before a decision can be arrived at as to the suitability of the site, consideration must be given to the question of the extent of the accommodation to be provided in the proposed new building and as to whether a reorganisation of the primary school facilities in Tipperary town might be undertaken in conjunction with the provision of the new school.

Those matters are at present being dealt with in my Department.
