Vol. 247 No. 12

Written Answers. - Cabra (Dublin) Water Supplies.

90.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is the present position in relation to the scheme for the provision of adequate water supplies for the Cabra area of Dublin; and whether, in view of the hardship and dangers to health arising from the present severe shortage of water in this area, he will take whatever steps he can to expedite the completion of the scheme.

This is primarily a matter for the sanitary authority concerned. I understand, however, that work is now in progress on the laying of a watermain at Bannow Road, Cabra, which should improve the supply position in the area.
