Vol. 248 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Industrial Development.

35.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, in view of the tremendous potential for industrial development in County Kerry, he will consider setting up an Industrial Development Authority office in Tralee.

It is the intention that the Industrial Development Authority will establish one office in each planning region. Various factors must be taken into account in determining the suitability of the particular location chosen. In the selection of a location for the IDA office in the south-west region, comprising counties Cork and Kerry, the interest of Tralee will be borne in mind.
