Private Business. - Business of Dáil: Motion.

I move:

(1) That notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Standing Orders

(a) the Dáil shall meet tomorrow at 10.30 a.m.;

(b) the Dáil shall sit later than the times specified in Standing Orders today, tomorrow and on Thursday, 30th July, the hour at which business is to be interrupted to be 11.30 p.m., 11.30 p.m. and 9 p.m., respectively, and

(c) Questions to Ministers shall be taken from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow and from 2.30 p.m. until completion on Thursday, 30th July;

(2) That the proceedings on the Motion for the Adjournment of the Dáil for the Summer Recess if not previously brought to a conclusion shall be brought to a conclusion at 9 p.m. on Thursday, 30th July by putting from the Chair forthwith the Question necessary to bring them to a conclusion; and

(3) That Members as indicated hereunder shall be called on by the Chair to speak in the debate on the aforesaid Motion on Thursday, 30th July, not later than the times specified:—

(i) 6.45 p.m., a Member nominated by the Labour Party,

(ii) 7.30 p.m., a Member nominated by Fine Gael, and

(iii) 8.15 p.m. the Taoiseach.
