171.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state in respect of a firm (name supplied), (a) the amount of grant given by the Industrial Development Authority and (b) the contract price of the factory.

The total amount paid to this firm to date by the Industrial Development Authority in respect of factory buildings and machinery and equipment in two different locations in County Donegal is £51,700. The firm has also received a grant of £2,000 from the Industrial Development Authority towards the cost of training workers.

I am not at liberty to give the information sought in the second part of his question as this is information of a commercially confidential nature.
