Vol. 251 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Educational Institute.

110.

Mr. O'Donnell

asked the Minister for Education what is the present position regarding the proposed third level educational institute in Limerick.

The planning board have submitted proposals with regard to courses, which in their opinion, would be appropriate in the case of the institute, and the staffing requirements in this connection. The proposals are being examined by the Higher Education Authority and I anticipate that the authority will make recommendations to me in the matter at an early date.
