asked the Minister for Local Government what the present position is in regard to the erection of ten new houses for Laois County Council at Court Square, Stradbally, County Laois; whether he has received tenders for these houses; and, if so, when he will be in a position to sanction these tenders.

Proposals for the acceptance of a tender for this scheme were received in my Department on 29th December, 1970 and were approved by me on 18th January, 1971.

andMr. Cowen asked the Minister for Local Government if he will sanction the tenders for the following housing schemes in County Offaly:—(a) Clonbullogue—21 houses and (b) Ferbane—ten houses.

Proposals for the acceptance of a tender for the scheme at Clonbullogue have not yet been submitted to my Department. Proposals for the acceptance of a tender for the Ferbane scheme were received on the 12th January 1971 and were approved last week.

andMr. Cowen asked the Minister for Local Government if he will sanction the architect for the Edenderry, County Offaly, housing scheme.

This appointment was approved on the 22nd January, 1971.
