I presume the Deputy has in mind the Associated Banks' proposed scheme under which it is intended to provide credit at a favourable interest rate to exporters of capital goods. As I indicated in reply to a question on 28th January, the bank closure and its aftermath have delayed the completion of this scheme. I am hopeful, however, that some details which still remain to be settled will be disposed of soon and that the scheme will be introduced at an early date.
