Vol. 251 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Bankruptcy Court Cases.

37.

andMr. Timmins asked the Minister for Justice the number of concerns that have appeared in the Bankruptcy Court during the year 1970.

Nine individuals were adjudicated bankrupt and five individuals were granted the protection of the court as arranging debtors in 1970. In the case of companies, to which I assume the Deputies also intended to refer, 16 petitions for winding up were presented. Twelve of these resulted in winding up orders being made. Two arrangements matters were presented one of which resulted in an order.
