Vol. 252 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing of Offaly Family.

50.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that Offaly County Council have proposals for the erection of a dwelling on a site at Durrow, Tullamore, in order to house a family (name supplied) who were evicted from their home on the 4th March 1971; and if, in view of the special circumstances of this case, every effort will be made by his Department and the local authority to provide shelter for this family as a matter of urgency.

I am so aware. I understand that the county council are giving this family a temporary letting of a newly completed house next week, pending the building by the council of a rural cottage for them.
