asked the Minister for Lands if he will state in respect of housing loans by the Land Commission in each of the past ten years (a) the number of advances and (b) the total amount of cash involved.

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.

Housing Loans sanctioned by the Land Commission to supplement grants made by the Department of Local Government.
