asked the Minister for Education when the much needed repairs to Ballygarvan national school, County Cork are likely to be carried out.

Plans and specifications for the scheme of improvement have been prepared by the Office of Public Works. Tenders for the carrying out of the works will be invited when planning permission has been obtained.

Will the Minister say what the nature of the improvements will be?

New WC's, central heating, tarmac paths, new safety entrances and a play shelter.

asked the Minister for Education when he hopes to provide extra accommodation for the pupils of Monkstown national school, County Cork.

My Department has approved the provision of a doubleunit prefabricated classroom block at this school. I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that they have authorised the manager to invite tenders for the erection of the classrooms.
