Vol. 252 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal Houses.

49.

asked the Minister for Local Government the cause of the delay in providing houses at Castlefin, County Donegal; and if he is aware of the need for the immediate provision of houses in the area.

50.

asked the Minister for Local Government the cause of the delay in having the Carndonagh housing scheme, County Donegal sanctioned; and if, in view of the urgent need for houses in the area, he will issue sanction at an early date.

I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 49 and 50 together.

Proposals for the acceptance of tenders for these schemes have been approved. There was no delay in my Department in dealing with the proposals.

Would somebody tell us, a Cheann Comhairle, why there are all these substitute Ministers this week?

That is a separate question.

The Minister for Finance, Deputy Colley, is a virtual Poo-Bah the way he has been answering for various Ministers all the week.
