asked the Minister for Finance if he has received a request from the Offaly County Council for approval of plans and contract documents in connection with the crection of a new bridge at Killane, Edenderry, County Offaly; and, if so, if he will treat the matter as one of urgency.

The Commissioners of Public Works have given their consent to the erection of a new bridge at Killane, Edenderry, in accordance with plans submitted to them pursuant to section 50 (1) of the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945.
