There are two such bodies in existence.

The following is the required information in relation to An Chomhairle Ealaíon, which is the only body of the kind under the aegis of my Department. None of the persons concerned held any similar appointment in any other body related to the Department.

The number of bodies or committees of limited duration currently in existence in my Department and set up to deal with specific items is six.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state in respect of the current directors of the State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of his Department their names, addresses and salaries; and if he will give details of the other directorships held by such persons in other State companies under the aegis of his Department.

I presume that in the context of the question the information requested relates only to persons who are paid salaries in respect of their services to the bodies concerned. As the Deputy will be aware from previous replies, a very large number of public-spirited citizens serve without any remuneration on bodies established under the aegis of my Department. On the foregoing basis, the information is as follows:—

The only State-sponsored body under the aegis of my Department is the Board for the Employment of the Blind. The following are the members of the board:—
