Vol. 253 No. 10

Written Answers. - Parking of Vehicles.

100.

asked the Minister for Finance who are the owners of the several commercial vehicles, many of which are now parked for several months in the roadway in Dublin Castle leading from Ship Street; why they are parked there; and when they will be removed.

The Deputy is probably referring to vehicles which the Revenue Commissioners have in their possession following seizures made by their officers in the course of their duty. Obviously it would be undesirable to furnish the names of the owners. Seized vehicles are disposed of as early as possible but in some instances it may be a considerable time before the cases involving the owners are settled.
