With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I am taking Questions Numbers 14 and 15 together. The employment of the person named in the first question as a part-time herd during the period from 1st January, 1968, to May, 1970, except for three weeks in that period was adjudged insurable by the decision of a deciding officer in accordance with the statutory provisions governing this type of employment. He did not appeal against this decision.
Employment contributions were paid by the Land Commission on behalf of the person named for the periods from 23rd December, 1967, to 21st June, 1970, and from 19th October, 1970, to 20th December, 1970. All the contributions in the first mentioned period were at the rate appropriate to those insured for occupational injury benefit only, with the exception of two ordinary rate contributions in 1967, two agricultural rate contributions in 1968 and one agricultural rate contribution in 1969. The nine employment contributions paid in respect of the second period were at the agricultural rate.
