With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the retail prices of butter, cheese, milk, potatoes, bread and tea in each of the EEC countries in April, 1970. The prices, which are expressed in terms of new pence, were compiled from a recent publication of the Statistical Office of the European Economic Community.
