Vol. 254 No. 14

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Midland Health Board Posts.

7.

asked the Minister for Health if he has received any proposals from the Midland Health Board for the creation of executive posts within the Board; if so, the posts involved; and the expected total annual cost.

I have approved of the Midland Health Board's proposals, recommended at its meeting of 10th December, 1970, for the creation of the posts of

programme manager — community care;

programme manager — hospital care;

finance officer (including planning and evaluation);

personnel officer.

I have no other proposals from the board for the creation of executive posts.

The total annual cost of the posts involved would range from £13,580 to £16,290, depending on the point on the scales at which the appointees would enter.
