Vol. 254 No. 14

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Export Tax Reliefs.

15.

asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will outline the terms of the detailed memorandum submitted by the Government to the EEC on the question of the retention until 1990 of Ireland's export tax relief system; and if he is aware that the general attitude of the Community seems to be that these reliefs in their current form may not be retained later than 1978.

I am making available to Deputies the text of my statement to the Community on 7th June on export tax reliefs which outlines the case presented in our detailed memorandum on the subject.

Question No. 16 postponed.
