Vol. 255 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sewerage Schemes.

63.

asked the Minister for Local Government when sanction will be given for proposals to provide a sewerage scheme to serve the cottages at Dirra, Listowel, County Kerry and the part of the Ballybunion road which is within the Listowel UDC area.

The proposals for these schemes, as submitted by the local authorities concerned, would have been unduly costly and suggestions were made by my Department for the more economical provision of sewerage services. The further proposals of the local authorities are awaited.

64.

Mr. J. Lenehan

asked the Minister for Local Government the present position regarding proposals for the provision of a piped sewerage scheme in the village of Bangor-Erris, County Mayo.

There has been no change in the position as regards this scheme since my reply to the Deputy's Question No. 64 of 25th February, 1971.
