Vol. 255 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Duty Free Facilities.

27.

Mr. O'Donnell

asked the Minister for Finance the steps which must be taken before duty free facilities can be introduced on air and shipping routes across the Irish Sea; and in what way the British Government would be involved in any future revision.

The steps to be taken would be administrative rather than legislative. The British Government are involved to the extent that facilities of the kind in question would normally be introduced on a reciprocal basis.
