Vol. 255 No. 7

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - County Roscommon Geriatric Home.

6.

asked the Minister for Health the present position regarding the provision of a home for geriatrics in Boyle, County Roscommon.

The bill of quantities for this project has been examined in my Department and comments have been forwarded to the Western Health Board. These are to be discussed between the professional staff employed by the board and my Department's architectural staff. This discussion has been arranged for Friday, 16th July.

7.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state in respect of the proposed home for geriatrics in Boyle, County Roscommon, the cost of clearing the site in 1969.

I understand that the work undertaken at the Boyle site consisted only of the transfer from the site to another location of some materials owned by the council. Any costs involved are not chargeable against the Boyle project and, consequently, there is no information available in my Department regarding such costs.
