asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if any recent discussion has taken place with the Common Market negotiators on Ireland's contribution to the EEC.

At my meeting in Brussels yesterday, I accepted the Community delegation's proposal in regard to the arrangements to govern the contributions of the new member States to the Community Budget up to and including the year 1979.

asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if the arrangements made on 23rd June between the UK and the EEC will affect Irish dairy exports during the five-year transitional period; and what position this country will adopt in negotiations in relation to such arrangements.

The intention is that the prices at which New Zealand dairy produce will be sold in Britain will be such that the market for the products of the enlarged Community including Ireland will not be endangered. In these circumstances, we have indicated to the Community that the arrangements in regard to New Zealand are acceptable.

Is it not a fact that for Foreign Affairs if he will make a statement on his recent discussions with the British Foreign Secretary.
