Vol. 255 No. 10

Business of Dáil.

Could the Taoiseach tell us whether it is proposed to do what the Minister for Health promised to do with regard to what we would call the Lourdes marriages? He said he was introducing a Bill to deal with them in this session and he has not done so. I wonder would the Taoiseach say whether it is proposed to do so?

It is hardly likely now. This matter has been under consideration for a long time. There were some difficult problems in connection with the drafting of it. I do not know if they have been overcome. The Minister is not here just now but I will discuss it with him and let the Deputy know next week. We seem to have plenty of time for legislation anyway so we might as well introduce it if we can.

Why not bring in the Criminal Justice Bill as well?

What about reintroducing the Prices and Incomes Bill?
