asked the Minister for Labour the total number of industrial employees declared redundant under the Redundancy Payments Act, 1967, during the first six months of 1971.

The number for the first six months of 1971, as notified under the Redundancy Payments Act, 1967, was 2,225, comprising 1,826 men and 399 women.
