The Community's agricultural arrangements provide for target or guide prices for the main products at producer level and do not extend to retail level. It is not possible to give any precise indication of the retail prices for the commodities mentioned by the Deputy which will apply here on full application of the Community's agricultural system but I would refer him to the information on retail prices in the Community for beef, mutton, pork and butter, which were given in reply to his question of 29th June, and I am circulating with the Official Report a table giving similar information for milk and cheese.
