Vol. 255 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cost of Company's Products.

108.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if a company (name supplied) was given permission by his Department to increase the price of their products while at the same time they reduced the price they were willing to pay to the suppliers.

The company have not applied to me for permission to increase their prices. They have informed me that on 1st July, 1971, they reduced the prices paid to their suppliers by £1 per ton and that on the same date they reduced the prices charged for their products by £1 per ton.
