The Garda inquiries into these matters are continuing. As I have previously indicated, I do not propose to make any comment in relation to matters that are the subject of Garda investigations. If the gardaí get sufficient evidence on which to institute proceedings in these or any other cases, prosecutions will be initiated. The circumstances of the burnings may, in any event, have to be determined by the courts in connection with malicious injuries claims and there could be no question of my commenting on them.
