asked the Minister for Finance if discussions have yet concluded between his Department or the Revenue Commissioners and representatives of livestock marts and bloodstock sales, in respect of the arrangements which will operate after the introduction of the value added tax.

The discussions with the various interests are continuing and it is not possible at this stage to say when they will conclude.
