The composition of Comhairle Radio na Gaeltachta whose proposed establishment was announced recently has not yet been decided. The comhairle which will be broadly representative of the Gaeltacht areas and interests, will be established under the terms of the Broadcasting Authority Act, 1960.

I understand that it is proposed to fill the post of Ceannaire Radio na Gaeltachta by selection from suitable candidates who offer themselves in response to recent newspaper advertisements announcing the vacancy.
