(i) Where no date is given in column headed "2nd Instalment", the grant was paid in two instalments only, except in the case of Dublin Corporation where the grant was paid in one sum, and the cases of Limerick Corporation, County Laois and County Roscommon where special arrangements existed.

(ii) Instalments of individual grants were paid at dates later than those shown, because of circumstances which prevented their payment as part of the main body.
