Written Answers. - Meath Housing Schemes.

293.

asked the Minister for Local Government when documentation in respect of a housing scheme at Castletown, County Meath, was received in his Department for approval; and what action has since been taken with regard to it.

Layout and house plans for this scheme were received in my Department on 5th October, 1971. Additional information necessary for the examination of the proposal has been requested from the housing authority and the submission of this information is awaited.

asked the Minister for Local Government when his approval was sought by Meath County Council for a loan for the erection of a housing scheme at Drumconrath.

This proposal was submitted to my Department on 22nd July, 1971 and has been approved.

295.

asked the Minister for Local Government when a layout plan in respect of a housing scheme at Kilmainhamwood was received in his Department from Meath County Council; and what action has so far been taken with regard to it.

A revised layout plan for this scheme was received in my Department on the 24th August, 1971 and has been approved.

asked the Minister for Local Government when a layout plan in respect of a scheme of houses at Lobinstown, County Meath, was received in his Department; and if it has yet been approved.

Approval has been given to a revised layout for this scheme which was received in my Department on the 24th August 1971.

asked the Minister for Local Government the date on which tenders for the erection of 46 houses in the agreement scheme 1970 were received in his Department from Meath County Council; and the dates on which they were sanctioned.

This proposal was received in my Department on 5th October, 1971. The county council were asked to submit additional technical information, which is necessary for its examination. The submission of this information by the council is awaited.

asked the Minister for Local Government the date on which a tender for the rection of a housing scheme at Batterstown was received in his Department from Meath County Council; and the date on which it was sanctioned.

The council's proposal to accept a tender for this scheme was received in my Department on the 1st October, 1971, and is under examination. A decision will be given as soon as possible.

299.

asked the Minister for Local Government when approval sought by Meath County Council for advertisement for tender of a housing scheme at Donore was received in his Department; and when approval was given.

Layout and house plans for 20 houses at Donore were approved by me last July. On the 11th August. the housing authority requested approval to seek tenders for 30 houses instead of the 20 originally proposed, and this proposal was approved on the 8th October, following the submission by the council of necessary additional information on the 18th September last.
