As far as I am aware an adequate supply of the textbooks approved for use in national schools is available.
With regard to the post-primary schools I understand that because of a merger between two major publishing concerns some delay has arisen in relation to the availability of certain books prescribed for the intermediate certificate Irish courses. However, I am informed that adequate supplies of the books in question will be available soon.
Apart from this I am not aware of the non-availability of any other textbooks.
