asked the Minister for Local Government the present position in relation to the Coonagh and Clondrine water and sewerage schemes, County Limerick.

This group water supply scheme is progressing satisfactorily. Grants totalling £3,060 were allocated to the group on 4th October, 1971, and £1,500 was paid on 3rd November, 1971. The estimated cost of the scheme is £8,559.

My Department has no record of a sewerage proposal for the area.

asked the Minister for Local Government when sanction may be expected for the sewerage scheme for Portroe village, County Tipperary.

Contract documents for this scheme are under consideration in my Department. I am not as yet in a position to say when a decision thereon will issue.
