Of this 355-acre property, some 75 acres have already been divided.
The preparation of resale plans for the balance, 280 acres, was deferred in the expectation that it would be possible to secure another holding in the locality for division, thus enabling a more balanced scheme of land settlement to be implemented. This, however, has not proved feasible and I understand that the aim now is to include the McInerney estate in next year's allocation programme.
