Sligo Corporation's application for a loan to finance the scheme of 63 houses at Maugheraboy is under consideration, and a decision on it will be given as soon as possible.
Would the Minister let us know the result as soon as possible because there is an acute shortage of houses in Sligo town? Young married couples are paying up to £6 a week for very small flats. I ask the Minister to speed up this matter.
I shall certainly deal with it as quickly as I can.
