Vol. 257 No. 10

Written Answer. - Department of Social Welfare Telephone Services.

133.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the telephone service in the Department of Social Welfare will be improved so as to overcome the frequent experience of callers most of whom find the Dublin headquarters' number engaged at present.

Additional exchange lines and operating positions were provided on the private branch exchange serving the Department of Social Welfare at Árus Mhic Dhiarmada last May. Since then my Department have received no complaint of callers finding the number engaged.
