The trainer in question does not receive any payment from my Department. It has, however, been decided to avail of his services for an initial trial period to train riders and horses of the Army Equitation School and to refund to Bord na gCapall part of his salary in respect of that period.
Has the utilisation of the trainer started already?
Yes.
Therefore, the trainer will currently be in receipt of remuneration from the Minister's Department as well as the remuneration indicated in a previous answer by the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries?
No. An arrangement has been made in respect of the matter.
