The statistics relating to redundancies notified under the Redundancy Payments Acts are compiled by reference to employment exchange areas, which do not correspond with county boundaries. With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report a tabular statement giving particulars of notifications by employment exchange areas in the period 1st January, 1971, to 30th November, 1971.
Additional information sought in Questions 30 and 31 is being compiled and I shall send it to the Deputies during the Recess.
