Vol. 257 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - House Specifications.

121.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he will make it obligatory on builders to provide specifications on houses being purchased.

It is the practice of my Department to require the applicant for a new house grant to furnish a specification of the house. Apart from this procedure I do not propose to impose a general obligation on builders to provide purchasers with specifications of houses.
